Dear UNT Supporter,

As you know, UNT has been committed to transforming the lives of our students through education and opportunity since our founding in 1890. What sets us apart from every other institution in Texas — and the nation — is our caring and creative community that nurtures and supports these future leaders of tomorrow. This support does not happen on its own. We rely on the generosity of business partners, community members, faculty, staff, and our alumni, to pour into these students. Many are struggling to make it. Some students are working multiple jobs in addition to attending class full time, just to make ends meet. Sometimes it's a matter of a few hundred dollars to get them out of a financial bind so they can continue their education.

That's the impact of your donations during the UNT Day of Giving. No matter the size, you will see the effect. You can donate to an area you're passionate about and support various scholarships, programs, emergency funding, or whatever cause you're led to support. I know the economic times we're in are tough, but I hope you'll be able to give and support your university. We are all part of the Mean Green Family and are here to help each other grow to our fullest potential.

You'll be able to select the department or program, as well as the fund designation, for which you'd like to give. It's easy and secure, and within minutes, you can make an indelible impact here at UNT.
