Bio Information

Dr. Debbie Rohwer began serving as vice president for planning and strategy in June 2017 and is a Regents Professor of music education. Prior to her appointment in the division of planning, she joined the UNT College of Music faculty in 1997 and was professor of and chair of music education. Dr. Rohwer's position as vice president for planning and strategy includes a variety of duties such as:

  • Synthesizing campus feedback, working with leadership to prioritize campus strategic plan efforts, and then assisting the leadership team in linking strategic plan priorities to annual budget processes
  • Collaborating across areas to promote and improve campus culture through the UNT Mediation Program and campus-wide retention initiatives
  • Leading the Data Analytics and Institutional Research (DAIR), Navigate, and Accreditation teams in efforts that will continuously improve campus outcomes
