As we begin work to build the next era of UNT, below are five design principles shared by President Keller to guide our plans, decisions, and investments:

1. Embrace our public responsibilities with Courageous Integrity, to understand and address the needs of our region, state, and nation.

2. Create transformative value for students through educational experiences and programs that demonstrate genuine care by equipping all UNT students for productive and purposeful lives.

3. Unlock individual potential across our community through a commitment to high standards and high support for every student, faculty, and staff member, so our UNT community will serve as the platform that allows every individual to unlock their potential and truly be better together.

4. Transcend traditional academic boundaries to accelerate the pace of innovation, so UNT will be a preferred destination for individuals to show their fire through their scholarship, discoveries, entrepreneurship, and creative contributions; and

5. Prioritize partnerships for the public good through collaborations with schools, community colleges, universities, employers, and governments, working in a spirit of genuine curiosity and mutual respect to improve lives across our region and beyond.
