The University of North Texas' leadership structure consists of three key groups that support its mission and operations.
The President's Executive Leadership team at the University of North Texas comprises senior administrators who oversee the university's core functions. This team collaborates to advance UNT's mission, focusing on areas such as academic excellence, digital innovation, financial management, student enrollment, athletics, and student affairs.
The President’s Cabinet was created in Fall 2024 by President Harrison Keller, Ph.D. The President’s Cabinet is a deliberative body made up of leadership representatives from across the university community. The Cabinet is charged with working collaboratively with President Keller to identify and outline strategies for university projects and initiatives to support student success and advance the university.
President Harrison Keller, Ph.D., shortly after beginning his term in August 2024, called for a fresh perspective on his leadership team. Putting together a committee of 22 student representatives from across campus, this group gives the president and his leadership a valuable opportunity to hear directly from students about their experiences, insights, and fresh ideas about important issues for the UNT campus.
