The Senior Executive Assistant provides executive, administrative, and analytical support for the executive staff in the Office of the President.

The senior executive assistant's responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling and arranging travel for the Deputy to the President, Chief of Strategy and Planning, and Chief of Staff
  • Facilitating the flow of information between the Office of the President and other campus executives’ offices through timely and consistent communication between administrative support personnel
  • Compiling various reports, maintaining records and other documentation, facilitating project management, and the preparation of materials prior to meetings
  • Correspondence preparation and management, including reports, records, and other documentation in support of the office’s projects and priorities
  • Providing support to departments reporting to the division and being a resource in the resolution of complex, highly sensitive and confidential administrative matters
  • Coordinating communication and workflow within the senior executive staff within the office; identifying and recommending improvements for administrative procedures, and making evaluative judgments in implementing changes as appropriate to administrative procedures
  • Document processing, particularly those which require contribution by the Deputy and/or Chiefs (eLeave, ePARs, travel)
  • Serves as administrative backup for the President’s Senior Executive Assistant, when needed

  • M.M. music history and literature, Southern Methodist University
