The Chief of Staff is responsible for driving business and culture outcomes and leading operations of the President’s Office to a “best in class” standard of customer service. The role of the Chief of Staff to the President’s Office is to represent the interests and priorities of the Office of the President through management of administrative functions ensuring integration with the President’s initiatives, priorities, and objectives. This position is responsible for planning, directing and maintaining professional administrative and operational activities for the Office of the President. The Chief of Staff serves as a key member of the President’s team and leads a broad scope of initiatives managed by the Office of the President, working closely and in coordination with the Cabinet and senior leaders as needed. This role provides independent analysis and removes barriers to ensuring priority initiatives are executed and formulates recommendations for strategic implementation. The Chief of Staff serves as a liaison to the Office of the President for the campus, establishing and maintaining strong, highly collaborative and trusted partnerships across the University.
