The Senior Administrative Coordinator for Special Events supports all event functions
for the Special Events team in the Office of the President and provides administrative
support to the Director of Special Events. The senior administrative coordinator's
responsibilities include:
- Assisting with a variety of event logistics including room scheduling, procurement
of necessary event supplies and materials, catering orders, soliciting bids from vendors,
review and facilitation of contract routing, and day-of event coordination as needed.
- Maintaining detailed records of events including database records of contacts, RSVPs/responses,
and attendance. Responsible for the collection of event-related data and its analysis,
the preparation of materials for meetings and events, and providing assistance with
the completion of reports.
- Assisting the Director of Special Events with all administrative functions.
- Greeting visitors to the Office of Special Events.
- Assisting with event-related budgets, purchasing and travel related to the Special
Events team, and serving as an additional resource in these areas for the President's
Office. Assisting and acting as backup to the budget officer as needed.
- Assisting with or may be responsible for various special projects in support of the
department.
