Innovation in Student Success Award

The Innovation in Student Success Award recognizes staff who demonstrate exceptional creativity and forward-thinking in developing initiatives, programs, or solutions that significantly advance student success. Up to one recipient may receive a one-time payment of $3,000 and a commemorative engraved gift, which is presented during the Staff Appreciation Luncheon during Staff Appreciation Month.

Eligibility:

• Nominee must be in a UNT retirement-eligible staff position for at least six consecutive months.
• Nominee must not have received any formal disciplinary action or performance improvement plan within the twelve months prior to the nomination date.
• Nominee may not have received the award within the previous three years.

Criteria:

• Nominee demonstrates innovation in the design or delivery of academic or co-curricular experiences.
• Nominee uses data or evidence to inform and enhance initiatives.
• Nominee results in measurable improvements in student outcomes or engagement.
